Wide experience in biochemistry and molecular biology, human physiology and pathogenesis of metabolic disorders,  nutrition  and  diet related disorders; as well as in research and development, project analysis and evaluation

Special scientific interests: pathogenesis of metabolic disorders; the role of interaction between genetic and environmental factors in pathogenesis of non-communicable diseases; development of new biomarkers: biochemical (including immunological) and genetic (genetic variants, transcriptomic and epigenetic) markers for risk assessment, disease diagnosis and assessment of therapy effectiveness.
